Acts like Migos, Rich Homie Quan, Peewee Longway, Rich The Kid and others were literally popping up out of nowhere and having hot singles on the radio and they'd all have the same formula, but have their own cadence. During 2014, I noticed a rise in rappers coming out of Atlanta. ![]() ![]() Heavy 808s and snares with a guy talkin' about his hoes, cars, the drugs he sells, and money? It's the formula most people think of when trap music comes to mind. There was once a time when trap music never interested me.
